Return To Learning Programme for New Mature Students
Welcome to NUI Galway
Congratulations on your acceptance to NUI Galway as a Mature Student for the academic year 2017/2018. We welcome all of you to NUI Galway. This unique programme has been designed to help make the transition back into full-time education easier for you. During these few days, you will meet each other, current mature students, lecturers and support services. Applied Writing, Study Skills, Theory, Critical Thinking, Essay Writing are but a few very helpful lectures that will be given to give you confidence as you begin your studies before term officially starts. We understand that it may be overwhelming beginning your new life with us, but we hope to assist you as best we can so you know your way around the campus and what services you may need. These few days are highly recommended even if you feel you may have covered similiar material through other studies. Every day is a school day and we learn something new every day.
With a Warm Welcome,
Trish Bourke
