Return To Learning Programme for Full-Time Undergraduate Degree Students- Mature, Access & FETAC entrants.

Welcome to NUI Galway

Congratulations on your acceptance to NUI Galway as a Mature Student for the academic year 2020/2021. We welcome all of you to NUI Galway. This unique programme has been designed to help make the transition back into full-time education easier for you. This will be an on-line delivery using Blackboard Collaborate, the Universities Virtual Learning Classrom.

An e-zine will be sent to you on Friday 4th of September with links to access the course each day and a timetable. Check your junk email should you not receive it on Friday. Please keep the email safe so you can easily access the course. Use Mozilla or google Chrome as your web browser.

September 14th for the Return to Learning Programme begins with Welcome from the Mature Students Officer and other members of the university staff.

University Orientation begins September 21st with the Academic Year beginning on the 28th of September.

Important Notice regarding Parking on Campus

Parking Guidelines must be adhered to at all times as clamping is in operation. Parking Instructions for temporary parking is available at http://www.nuigalway.ie/buildings/parking.html Please ensure you have downloaded and placed the Temporary Student Parking Permit 2019 on your car and parked in a designated Temporary Parking spot- Corrib Village and Dangan if you park on campus before you have organised an annual Student Permit.

On-Line Registration

On-Line Registration Opens16th September at http://www.nuigalway.ie/registration/reghelp_home.html/newstudentundergrad/
If you require a letter of registration for the Grants Authority, Social Welfare or other; you should register as soon as possible. If you have done so before the Return to Learning Programme commences  you can organise to have your letters stamped, verified etc. at this time with the Student Registry, dependant on opening under Government Guidelines.
