Candidates are assessed on the quality of their written application and on the following:
Honours Mathematics or an A in Ordinary Level Leaving Certificate Maths is desired. Leaving Certificate Science is also an advantage. A Special Maths Exam may apply in some cases. If this is required you will be notified to attend in August.
A detailed account of work or life history is beneficial to your application and you should explain in your CAO application why you have chosen this area of study and how it will be an asset to future plans.
This Criteria applies to all Engineering Degrees
