CAO Offers To Mature Students - July 6th
CAO acceptance by July 14th
(If applicants do not accept their offer by the stated date, then the place is recalled to be offered to another applicant)
Q. I have received my MSAP score from ACER and am wondering what my chances are of gaining an offer on the BA degree. When will I know if I have been successful and how will I know?
A. This will be agreed in the coming months in consultation with the Dean of the College of Arts, Social Sciences and Celtic Studies.
Applicants to GY110 to GY118 may also be shortlisted to interview in May/June.
Offers will be made to mature applicants by the CAO on July 6th and must be responded to by July 14th.
You will be invited to the Return to Learning Programme scheduled for late August to early September. Topics such as Academic Writing Skills, Time Management, and Memory Techniques along with a wide range of useful skills will be introduced to you during that week. It is also a way of meeting other mature students who are starting out on this new adventure just like you! You will be invited to sign up for this course in July.
Applicants who have been offered a first-year place in the University may apply for deferral of entry for one year. The application must be made in writing and only in respect of the course in which the offer is made. The following is a summary of the procedure to be followed:

3. The letter must arrive in the Admissions Office at least two days before the "Reply Date" shown on the Offer Notice.
