Students wishing to apply to GY501 Medicine should note that NUI Galway is now offering 2 mature places for the academic year starting 2013. Honours Leaving Certificate Science is required. Applications should be submitted to the CAO before Feb 1st. The HPAT test should also be applied for. Shortlisting applies to a Mini Multiple Interview. Selection is based on an aptitude test organised by the Nursing Careers Centre. Details of the test are available at http://www.nursingcareers.ie/ There are no interviews for these programmes. An active email account is required for all correspondence from the Public Appointments Service (PAS) which will include a pdf of the booklet Nursing/Midwifery A Career for you 2012 due to be emailed to you on Friday, 9th March 2013 if you have applied correctly thorugh the CAO.
