Specialist Certificates in Health Promotion
These part time Certificate programmes take place over 1 year and aim to provide students with a professional education and training in the principles and practice of health promotion, with students taking a generic health promotion module, a specialist module and a practical project. The first two modules include workshop participation and self paced instructional materials and assignments for home study, while the third module focuses on project work. The course is open to those working in a professional capacity in a specialist health promotion field.
Specialist Certificate in Health Promotion - ORAL HEALTH
This specialist course is run in partnership with the Dental Health Foundation. This is a distance education course, accompanied by workshops which take place at a venue in the Marino Institute of Education, Dublin.

INTAKE in 2017/2018: The Specialist Certificate in Youth Health Promotion is run in conjunction with the National Youth Council (http://www.youth.ie/) and applications are made in the first instance through the National Youth Council (see: http://www.youthhealth.ie/content/specialist-certificate-youth-health-promotion ).
