The Head of Radiology is Professor Peter McCarthy who has a joint clinical and academic appointment to Galway Regional Hospitals and to NUI Galway as a Consultant Radiologist and Established Professor of Radiology (8:3 sessional split). The lecturer in Radiology is Dr. Zuhair Ali (3 academic sessions)
