MASTERS IN PREVENTIVE CARDIOLOGY /POSTGRADUATE DIPLOMA IN PREVENTIVE CARDIOLOGY 

There has been a strategic reorientation of our health services towards preventive medicine. Preventive cardiology is the discipline specialising in the early detection and management of risk factors for cardiovascular disease, the greatest cause of premature death in the developed world. This course, delivered in partnership with Croí, the West of Ireland Cardiac Foundation and Imperial College London, provides one of the few postgraduate opportunities available worldwide to study preventive cardiology and will appeal to a diverse range of applicants.
