Working for a Science (undenominated) degree (B.Sc.) at NUI Galway is probably one of the most rewarding routes to take in University.

Science students take a range of subjects in First Year and then gradually specialise during Second and Third Year. (See this page and click on "GY301" for details on subject possibilities and combinations in Science.)

So, you can eventually study for a B.Sc. in Microbiology in Fourth Year, but have a lot of fun along the way with other subjects from across the College of Science!
