1. Microbe World

Discover Unseen Life on Earth on the Microbe World website.

While you're there, make sure to check out their Meet the Microbes section! And, you can, of course, also Meet the Scientists and find out what microbiologists do, read some career profiles and find out how to become a microbiologist . You can also enjoy podcasts and the 'MicrobeWorld Radio Show!'

2. The PCR Song

The Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) has become an invaluable application for biologists, but especially for microbiologists. The microscale nature of microbial cells means that analysing their genes if usually much more informative relying alone on cultivation and microscopy.
