As part of the Ulysses Project the French Department and the School of Languages Literatures and Cultures will host
Two seminars in French :
1) Training seminar on how to use the Frantext database, 10 -12 in the Library training room
Frantext contains more than 4000 French and Francophone texts (www.frantext.fr) of interest to a wide range of researchers (literature, sociology, politics, etc.)
Véronique Montémont (Université de Nancy, ATILF / CNRS) who manages the database, will show how researchers can use it

The diaries analysed are those of Hélène Berr and Micheline Bood (who both wrote during the Occupation of France), George Sand, and Yves Navarre
