THREESIS: Open Your Mind .. and Get to the Point!!

THREESIS: Open Your Mind...and Get to the Point!!

An academic challenge for all NUI Galway staff, contract, postdoctoral and postgraduate researchers, and undergraduate students.

The challenge is to present your research in 3 slides and 3 minutes to 3 judges in a way that anyone and everyone can understand.

Five heats will be held on campus at lunchtime (dates TBC) before Christmas, with 3 winners from each heat going on to the final, where the entrants will be vying for prizes and the first of an annual award.

Threesis submissions should take the form of a 200 word abstract (make sure to include a title!), emailed to the coordinator of the heat that best fits your research area. These research areas align with the five thematic research priorities at NUI Galway. Keep your abstracts clear and concise, avoid jargon, and remember that the goal is to present your work so that any person, regardless of their expertise, can understand it.
