WORKSHOP ON COMMUNICATING RESEARCH USING VIDEO
With Eileen Lauster
Tuesday 6 May 2014, 12-1pm
The Moore Institute and the Digital Scholarship Seminar will host a
workshop exploring strategies for disseminating research activity using
video content. The workshop will be lead by Eileen Lauster, Research
Assistant at the Responding to Child to Parent Violence project
(www.rcpv.eu) in the School of Political Science and Sociology and an
experienced film-maker and editor (www.busterdrive.com).
The workshop will introduce how to create video content with graphical,
still image, audio and live action material, and how to edit this
material using YouTube's built-in tools. It will include both practical
tips and broader communication strategies.
Places are limited, and those interested in participating should e-mail
firstname.lastname@example.org. Please include a few lines about your
research project and whether there are particular aspects of video
production that you would like to cover.
