1 The 1st thesis module (MCT624) will assist you in identifying and refining your thesis area, embarking on the research process and managing your thesis work. The output is a Thesis Proposal.

2 During the gap between the 1st and 2nd thesis modules, you'll work independently, consulting with your thesis advisor. You must submit a record of your secondary research work (in the form of a Literature Review or Annotated Bibliography) prior to beginning the 2nd thesis module. Requirements for these documents are described in the MCT624 Module Handbook and the Leedy & Ormrod textbook, Practical Research, both of which you will receive during MCT624.

3 You can take the 2nd thesis module in either Sp8W2 or Su8W1. The 2nd thesis module (MCT626) is essentially an online research seminar, where you can discuss and receive feedback on your thesis, as well as discuss guidelines for writing and structuring the final thesis.
