IT Online academic calendar

The IT Online programmes divide the year into three 16-week semesters: Fall, Spring and Summer.

• The Fall (F) semester runs from late August through the middle of December.
• The Spring (Sp) semester runs from the beginning of January through the end of April.
• The Summer (Su) semester begins the first week of May and ends at the end of August.
  

Each semester is divided into two accelerated terms called 8 Week One (8W1) and 8 Week Two (8W2).

Each term, a complete module is taught and examined. Students normally take one module at a time. The thesis component of the programme commences at the end of Year One (typically during Sp8W2) and continues throughout Year Two.
