Incomplete coursework
It is expected that you will complete the work for each module within the 8-week term. A student who is unable to complete all coursework due to unusual and/or extenuating circumstances may request an "Incomplete" from the facilitator. Unusual or extenuating circumstances include an accident, illness, death, or a major life transition.
A student must submit a written request to the instructor/facilitator for an incomplete grade. If approved, the incomplete grade will be recorded. The length of time to complete the module will be determined by the facilitator; however, the maximum length of time for completion will be the end of the following term. For example, if the module is a F8W1 module, the maximum amount of time to complete the module will be the end of F8W2. It is the responsibility of the facilitator to supervise the completion of the module and to submit the Grade Change Form to the Programme Academic Board (PAB). If the course work is not completed or if the instructor does not submit the Grade Change Form, the incomplete grade converts to an "F".
Due to rare circumstances, a student may submit a written request for an extension of the incomplete to the Programme Academic Board. The decision of the PAB to approve or deny the request for the extension is final.
