Abstract Submission & Registration 2011.

The 2011 Call for abstracts will open in early 2011 .

Abstract submissions for either poster or oral communications in any area of research involving microscopy are invited. The MSI endeavours to foster an interest at the biomaterials and life sciences interface and also the practice of microscopy, and provides a forum for academic and technical dialogue in matters relating to microscopy on the entire island of Ireland and beyond.

The Annual Symposium is conducted in a relaxed, semi-formal environment, and proves the ideal platform for students, especially those who have yet to experience a scientific meeting for the first time.
Student prizes are awarded for the best student oral presentation and best student poster presentation in both the Life and Material Sciences.
Registration for the symposium includes membership of MSI for one year. Members are reminded that student members of the MSI may make application to the MSI committee for Student Travel Bursaries.
Information will be updated as available at http://www.nuigalway.ie/msi.
