This module will examine the concept of ethics in organisations, managerial ethics and social responsibility. Management theories, human resource management and change will be examined in relation to the economics and delivery of health care. The impact of policy and management on patient care will also be analysed

On completion of this module the student will be able to:
- Critically analyse management theory and identify appropriate management skills for practice;
- Discuss health care delivery systems and critically analyse the impact of politics and policies on the delivery of patient care;
- Discuss the economics of health care and the development of budgets;
