Application Process

There are two steps in this Application Process:
1. To fill in the Online Application Form Click Here
2. Then post in the Relevant Supporting Documentation.

Online Application:
There is a 500-word personal statement required: you may prefer to type this in another application (e.g. Word) and then cut and paste in the data to the relevant space.

Entry Criteria

•  Applicants for Professional Credit Award Modules must be:

(a) A Registered Nurse on the Live Register held by An Bord Altranais
(b) Working in a clinical area where they are able to develop skills relevant to their chosen module.

Please note that some modules are only open to applicants who have undertaken previous academic study in that area of nursing practice.

Places

Please note that the number of places on modules is subject to availability.

Closing Dates

• The closing date for applications for Semester 1 (Sep - Dec 2012) Thursday, 2nd August 2012 and for Semester 2 (Jan – April 2013) is Wednesday, 31st October 2012

Fees

• The fee for the academic Year (2012-2013) for each professional credit award module is €850 (EU students), except for the modules “Continence Care” which is €650 and "Best Practice in Cervical Smear Taking" which is €550 (EU students).
