• You can now build your own individualised postgraduate programme over time using Professional Credit Award Modules.
  
• You only need to attend 2 days of face to face workshops as most of the module content will be delivered on-line in the comfort of your own home.
  

Application Process

Professional Credit Award modules new applications will be accepted from May 2013.
1. Fill in the Online Application Form
2. Then post in the Relevant Supporting Documentation.

Online Application:
There is a 500-word personal statement required: you may prefer to type this in another application (e.g. Word) and then cut and paste in the data to the relevant space.

Entry Criteria

•  Applicants for Professional Credit Award Modules must be:

(a) A Registered Nurse on the Live Register held by An Bord Altranais
(b) Working in a clinical area where they are able to develop skills relevant to their chosen module.

Please note that some modules are only open to applicants who have undertaken previous academic study in that area of nursing practice.

Please note that the number of places on modules is subject to availability.

Fees

• The fee for the academic Year (2012-2013) for each professional credit award module is €850 (EU students), except for the "Best Practice in Cervical Smear Taking" module which is €550 (EU students).

• Psychosocial Interventions 2
• Teaching Effectively
• Using Research in Practice
