First Year Students Orientation Week
1 to 5 September 2014

Your university start date is Monday, 1st September 2014, which will begin with a series of parent/guardian and student talks, introductory lectures, and clubs and societies activities as part of NUI Galway's annual First Year Students Orientation Week. Orientation week is a critical element of starting life at university and it is compulsory that all students attend. During your first week you will be provided with all the important information needed for your academic programme ex. timetables, subject choices etc. plus information on all the support services that are available to you. This week is a great opportunity for you to familiarise yourself with the campus before all students arrive back on the 8th September.
