She has researched the patient feedback platform Care Opinion to examine how a successful platform manages online interaction to create public value and Research Associate on The People’s Trial the HRB-TMRN first public led online randomised trial.

Hardy Schwamm is NUI Galway’s Open Scholarship Librarian. Hardy is interested in how Openness can remove barriers to knowledge and facilitate research collaboration. Hardy works on a number of Open initiatives such as the National Open Research Forum. He is also a supporter of grassroots initiative like Open Scholarship Communities and other grassroots initiatives that support the Open agenda.

Kate Molloy is a Learning Technologist in the Centre for Excellence in Learning and Teaching and is the NUI Galway project lead for the IUA Enhancing Digital Teaching and Learning project. Kate implemented the integration of H5P, an interactive authoring platform for creating and sharing OERs, in Blackboard at NUI Galway. Kate works closely with the Enhancing Digital Teaching and Learning team to create and share open resources on digital learning.

His research interests involve the development and application of computational tools to problems In theoretical physics and earth science. He is an advocate for open source software and open scholarship practices, releases software under open source licences where possible and publishes and reviews articles of open access journals.

Wei Qi Koh is a Marie-Curie early stage researcher carrying out a project as part of the DISTINCT (Dementia: Intersectorial Strategy for Training and Innovation Network for Current Technology) consortium, and her project will investigate the implementation of social robots to promote the social health of older adults with dementia. She has an interest in open access and open education.

Dr. Eoin Cullina is a lecturer and researcher in Science of Science Policy at Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology. Eoin completed his PhD research with Lero, the Science Foundation Ireland Research Centre for Software at the Whitaker Institute, J.E Cairnes School of Business and Economics.
