Educational background:
BSc Biology at York with a project on coral reef ecology, PhD in biological oceanography at Trinity College Dublin

Employment
Universities of Southampton, Liverpool and Queen's University of Belfast. Joined NUI Galway in 2008

Interests focus on marine ecology, including spatial ecology, ecological modelling, population and community ecology. Applications to conservation, fisheries, aquaculture and monitoring.
