Biography:
| Laura Dempsey is a lecturer in the School of Nursing & Midwifery at the National University of Ireland, Galway. Laura is a registered general nurse and worked clinically both nationally and internationally before embarking on a career in academia. Laura is programme director for the Postgraduate Diploma in Nursing (Palliative Care) and is module leader on a variety of undergraduate and postgraduate nursing modules. Laura's research interests are in dementia and end of life care which are the focus of her PhD research. |
