Biography:

Breda Lally holds a BA and MA from NUI Galway.  She initially worked as a research assistant at NUI Galway for a period of three years before undertaking research for Teagasc under a Walsh Fellowship Scheme.  She has been working as a University Teacher at NUI Galway since 1999.  She is based in St. Angela’s College, Sligo where she teaches Economics on the undergraduate BA (Environment and Society/Youth and Family Studies) programme offered by NUI Galway in Partnership with St. Angela’s College Sligo.  She was the programme co-ordinator for the BA (Economic and Social Studies) programme from August 2002 to July 2004 and from August 2008 to July 2010.  Her research interests include environmental and agri-environmental economics.
