Biography:

 

Natasha joined the Marketing Discipline in September 2008, having had previously lectured in International Business and Marketing at the Institute of Technology, Blanchardstown, Dublin.  She was awarded her PhD from University College Dublin in 2006. The first year of her doctoral studies was spent in the Universitat De Barcelona, Spain and the University of Vaxjo, Sweden, in which she completed European Doctoral Programme in Entrepreneurship & Small Business Management (2002). 

 

Natasha also worked as a Research Analyst and Business Consultant with Ernst & Young, Dublin.  Here she worked in strategic policy making for public sector clients such as the Marine Institute, Udaras na Gaeltachta, Company Registration Office and Irish Business and Employers Confederation (IBEC).  She also developed and wrote strategy and business plans for private sector clients across a diverse range of sectors, Shipping, Aquaculture, Software, Financial services, Energy, Retailing and Food processing for example. She also worked abroad in Germany as a Marketing Executive for an international industrial manufacturer.

 

Natasha has published her work in internationally top ranked journals such as: Journal of International Marketing; International Marketing Review; Entrepreneurship and Regional Development; Journal of Small Business & Entrepreneurship; Journal of International Entrepreneurship; International Journal of Entrepreneurship & Innovation Management.

 

She is Co-editor of the Forthcoming Special Issue of the “European Business Review: International New Ventures.  She is also on the Editorial Board of The Chinese Journal of Entrepreneurship.

 


Natasha is on the Board of Directors of Galway Port,  elected by Ministerial appointment in July 2012.
