Biography

Caroline is a registered occupational therapist with CORU OT018917. Caroline  has been an occupational therapist for over 30 years and has worked in the UK, Ireland and Australia. Caroline is particularly interested in practice education, evidencing competence and technology in practice. Her PhD thesis was entitled 'Are contemporary practice environments conducive to the learning needs and preferences of "Generation Y" Occupational Therapy students?'

Research Interests

My main research interest is pedagogy and practice education. This includes all aspects of teaching and learning in practice education and in particular competency and assessment of students. A particular interest is the management of underperforming students and in developing new ways to deliver practice education
