Biography

David is Digital Humanities Manager at the Moore Institute.

This involves contributing to strategies for policy and technology to support Digital Humanities at NUI Galway. David works with researchers from arts, humanities and social sciences to design, develop and manage digital research projects, and innovative interactive data visualisations. He provides consulting and training to academic staff, postdoctoral researchers, and postgraduate research students on technologies to support their research.

Prior to joining NUI Galway David founded and ran a web development company based in Galway. The company developed a Software-as-a-Service (SAAS) product to help manage and market small service businesses. The company also provided client services in the areas of design, development and consultancy.
