Biography

In 1991 Dr Fearnhead completed a BSc. in Pharmacology and Toxicology at the London School of Pharmacy, before completing a PhD. in apoptosis at the MRC-Toxicology Centre, Leicester, UK in 1995. In 1999 Dr Fearnhead completed a post-doctoral fellowship at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory, NY before moving to the National Cancer Institute in Maryland as a tenure track principle investigator. In 2004 Dr Fearnhead moved to the National Centre of Biomedical Engineering Science, National University of Ireland, Galway (http://www.nuigalway.ie/ncbes) and in 2006 was appointed a lecturer in Pharmacology and Therapeutics (http://www.nuigalway.ie/pharmacology).
