Biography:
Dr. Enrico Dal Lago is originally from Italy, where he graduated as Dott. Lett. at the University of Rome “La Sapienza” in 1988. Subsequently, he studied Archaeology in the United States, where he was awarded an M.A. in Anthropology at the University of Kansas in 1993. Between 1995 and 1999, he was a Teaching Fellow in the History Department of University College London, from where he received his Ph.D. in History. Since 1999, he has been Lecturer in American History in the History Department, School of Humanities, at the National University of Ireland, Galway. Dr. Dal Lago is a member of the American Historical Association, the Organization of American Historians, and the Italian Fulbright Alumni Association. He was an Elected Member of the Membership Committee of the Southern Historical Association for 2002. He is also a member of the Organizing Committee of the 2012 Annual Meeting of the Society for the Historians of the Early American Republic (SHEAR) and a member of the Editorial Board of The Journal of Social History. He has served as manuscript reviewer for The Journal of American History, Comparative Studies in Society and History, The Journal of Historical Sociology, and Labor History. |
