Biography:
| I have been a University Teacher since 2003 in Trent University and at NUIG. I am a qualified Secondary School Teacher of English as well. I have a BA in English Philology, H.Dip Education, MA Spanish (translation Studies) and currently finishing my Ph.D. in Language Teaching Learning. I am the first year coordinator and language assistant coordinator in Spanih, NUIG. Lately, my work has concentrated on the creation of textbook, audio and video materials for the http://www.ndlr.ie/, under a creative commons licence for teaching and learning Spanish - with references to Irish. I'm also currently working on Children Studies and Fiction issues, such as translation for kids, character voice and death in children literature. |
