Ms Abigail Rekas BA, JD
| Abigail Rekas has been an Early Stage Research fellow working on the Marie Curie Disability Rights Expanding Accessible Markets (DREAM) Project since 2011. Her topic of research is the implementation of Article 30(3) of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, which guarantees that intellectual property regimes shall not create unreasonable barriers to access to cultural materials for persons with disabilities. She is currently writing a Ph.D. on the same topic.
Abigail holds a Juris Doctor from Northeastern University School of Law (2011). She is a member in good standing of the Bar of the Commonwealth of Massachuestts. Abigail graduated summa cum laude with departmental honors from University of Massachusetts and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from the same (2007).
