Biography

Dr Micheál Newell is the academic director of innovative postgraduate programmes in Medical Science and Surgery. He has a PhD in integrated biology, an MSc in Sports Science, and a BA in Economics. Dr Newell is certified in cancer exercise rehabilitation and his research interests include: exercise rehabilitation for cancer, physiological performance and assessment in sports and exercise, and lifestyle medicine.
