Discipline of Pathology

Welcome to the Discipline of Pathology at NUI Galway

The aims of the Discipline of Pathology are:

To deliver high-quality student focussed education to undergraduate medical, bio-medical engineering students.
To provide teaching to other related courses including those inthe School of Nursing
To engage in high-quality basic, clinical and translational research in the field of cancer
To provide academic training and research opportunities for medical graduates who are training in the field of pathology and cognate disciplines.
To collaborate in research, education and training with the Department of Anatomic Pathology at Galway University Hospital.

The Discipline of Pathology is located on the ground floor of the Clinical Science Institute adjoined to University College Hospital Galway (Further contact details including directions here)
