Explanation about 'Main' or ' Subsidiary' which may be displayed on a PRD60 Cert

PRD60 Main - This means the University of Galway was your main employer for the year this Certificate relates to. The thresholds and rates of deductions were used in the calculation of your PRD deductions at the University of Galway.

PRD60 Subsidiary - This means the University of Galway was not your main employer for the year this Certificate relates to. You were deducted PRD at the highest rate of 10.5% on all your earnings at the University of Galway  for the relevant year. This certificate should be given to your main employer for that year so a recalculation can be done as you could be due a refund of PRD.

You can also view it in Irish.
