It is anticipated that each psychologist will see an average of 10 patients for 10 sessions as part of the intervention. This will be over the course of approximately 12-18 months. Sessions will take place in the psychologists’ usual clinic. The research team will deal with all referrals from GP's and will contact the relevant psychologist when a patient suitable for the programme has been referred. Ongoing support will be available to psychologists and all treatment manuals and related materials will be provided by the research team.
