Friday’s Philosophy Postgraduate Forum
This forum provides postgraduates the opportunity to come together and discuss all things philosophical. Meetings are every other Friday in the seminar room from 6-8 in the evening. The sessions are normally led by one postgraduate student either presenting a paper or assigning a reading to be done before the meeting. The topics range from thesis material to specific philosophers. The atmosphere is lively with a few healthy debates started by the end of the session. The forum offers the chance to come together as a group, to be introduced to different avenues within philosophy, and to enter into valuable discussions with fellow postgraduates.
