The Tyndall Lecture for Schools will take place on Wednesday, 1st February 12pm in the Kirwan Theatre, Arts/Science Building, NUI Galway. Tours of the School of Physics will also take place on this day.

Dr Cormac O'Raifeartaigh (Lecturer in Physics, Waterford Institute of Technology) will explore the theory and evidence supporting the big bang model and the limitations of the model will be explained in an engaging and interactive presentation. Recent discoveries that have revolutionized our view of the universe will also be discussed.
