Physiology in 4th year BSc
Physiology in fourth year consists of course work and a laboratory research
project. The course work consists
of lectures and tutorials, while the project teaches students the fundamentals
of scientific method and data analysis.
Postgraduate Degrees in Physiology
The minimum requirement to register for an MSc is a 2H1 degree in a related
science subject.
Careers after Physiology
Physiology is a core subject for all health related disciplines, many science/biomedical
students go on after further study to careers in medicine, dentistry, nursing,
physiotherapy, optometry, audiology and dietetics. Opportunities also exist in medical sales, regulatory
affairs, health and safety and teaching.
