Postgraduate Admissions Office
NUI Galway offers a wide range of graduate level Diploma programmes, Master Degrees, and Doctoral Research Degrees (include Structured PhDs) in each College.
With almost one quarter of all our registered students currently pursuing further studies, the University is committed to continuing to improve the range and quality of its postgraduate studies.
The University's postgraduate degrees are of two kinds:
1.
Research-based programmes normally involving two years on campus for Master Degrees and four years for Doctoral Degrees/Structured PhDs. 2. Postgrad. Diploma, Higher Diploma, and Masters' level
taught programmes.

IRCSET ... 'EMBARK' Initiative. Scholarships available for full-time postgraduate research degrees in Ireland. The Scheme supports basic research in Science, Engineering, and Technology. Closing date for applications:
