Congratulations, you have been made an offer to a postgraduate programme at NUI Galway, via the Postgraduate Applications Centre (PAC) online application system. If you intend to accept this offer please read the information below. It is important that you click the ACCEPT / DECLINE button, as appropriate, within your PAC offer.
When you are presented with an online offer in PAC you are also presented with the Terms & Conditions (T&C) that are associated with that offer. You must accept these T&C in order to accept the offer.

NUI Galway must receive your online acceptance
AND acceptance deposit fee (non-refundable)
within ten days (of offer-
date) to secure your programme place.
This deposit is off-set against your programme fees, when you register for the 2012–13 academic session.
As mentioned above, please confirm acceptance/non-acceptance of the offer via the PAC online system by clicking ACCEPT or DECLINE in the relevant section.
To secure your place you must pay a non-refundable deposit of €500 within ten days (of offer-date)* (bank draft or money/postal order only**, made payable to the National University of Ireland, Galway; cheques not accepted). Sterling or U.S. dollar drafts (equivalent to €500) are also acceptable.

If NUI Galway does not receive this deposit within ten days (of offer-date) your offer becomes null and void.
Non-NUI Galway students and NUIG students who attended pre-2001 must also submit a passport-type photograph, as this is required for your I.D. card. If you haven’t already uploaded a photo electronically as part of the PAC application process, please do so immediately. You can do this within PAC by logging into your PAC account, and going to the Update Profile section, and then selecting “Profile Photograph” option. See screenshot below:
The €500 (or €1,000 as relevant) deposit will be credited to your fees on registering as a student and is non-refundable in the event of withdrawal or cancellation. It is however transferable should you be subsequently offered and accept a place on another postgraduate programme at NUI Galway for the Academic Session 2012–2013 (with the exception of the PDip in Education/DGO).

For Irish students needing proof of acceptance for Grant Authority purposes you should print the receipt from within your PAC account and bring it to the Student Contact Centre to be officially stamped. This can then be presented to the your local Grant Authority as an official acceptance.
