The aim of the Train the Trainer course is to introduce participants to the basic knowledge and skills of training and education.
The Train the Trainer course is for anyone who would like to develop skills to effectively deliver training sessions.
We will provide you with the tools and techniques to be an exceptional trainer. You will learn new skills and ideas through both theoretical and practical means. With this qualification you will have all you need to design, deliver and evaluate training.
You will also have a recognised qualification in the field of training, which will enhance your employment and career prospects. This can be used as the first step of your Training and Education qualifications.

The course is held at various locations throughout the country. Typical locations include Galway, Maynooth and Cork.
The course fee is €850.00 including your course material. A discount of up to 50% is available for those currently on the live register for the unemployed (see scholarship form below). A deposit of €100.00 is required with your application form.
You will be awarded the Foundation Diploma in Training and Education. This course offers 10 credits (ECTS) at NFQ Level 7.
Students who have successfully completed the Train the Trainer course can apply for the Certificate in Training and Education. They will have an exemption from the Essential Trainer Skills module and will receive a fee reduction.
