In a recent scientometric study (
Boyack, Klavans & Borner, 2005), psychology was identified as one of seven hub sciences, sciences that are central and influence a number of other disciplines. It is perhaps no surprise then that researchers in the School of Psychology in NUI Galway are involved in research in a variety of areas from analyzing basic functions of the brain and eyes to exploring the very personal experiences of people in pain or suffering from health problems. Research seminar series
