The Radiology Department of NUI Galway is the academic arm of the Department of Diagnostic Radiology, University College Hospital, Galway (UCHG).

Administrative Assistant Ms. Mary Drury is available to assist you with any queries. She may be contacted in the Radiology Department Office.

Prof. Peter McCarthy, Dr. David O'Keeffe, Dr. Ray McLoughlin and Dr. Wil van der Putten lecture nursing, undergraduate and postgraduate medical students on a variety of Radiology topics. Lecture content is tailored to the level and abilites of the students. Dr. van der Putten heads the Department of Medical Physics, a close affiliate of the Radiology Department.
