A Visiting Student..

A visiting student is a student of another University, admitted to NUI Galway to undertake a programme of study, normally for one year or one semester. If you are attending NUI Galway on a Study Abroad or Erasmus programme, you are a Visiting Student.

NOTE :FOR NON-EU FULLTIME UNDERGRADUATE AND POSTGRADUATE STUDENTS :   

1. Students who have paid their fees in full:
     Please be aware that you can  register online at the start of the academic year.  After Online registration closes, please contact reghelp@nuigalway.ie for details on how to register.

2. Students who have not paid their fees in full:
-  If you fees are not fully paid you must first go to the Fees Office and sort out Fees owed (Ground Floor, Áras Uí Chathail) and  then
-  contact reghelp@nuigalway.ie.  Please provide a form of ID ( Undergrad students only). 

SEMESTER 1  - 2019/20: The Registration Help desks are open from now unutil Friday, 27th September : Monday to Friday 8.30 am to 5pm 

  • International (1OA2 & 1OA3) and Erasmus (1EM1) Students do not have to register pre-arrival.  Registration documentation will be available for collection at the Academic Advisory Session Thursday, 5th September 2019.  Click here   to view OA and EM Registration Guide
  • Student ID cards will be distributed at Academic Advisory Session, FridaY, September 6th, 2019.  
  • Module Registration opens on September 6th @ 5.00pm.  Please refer to your handbook for module selection information.
