Q1 Will I receive registration information in the post?
Q2 When can I register online?Online registration will open on August 21st 2012. From this date you can register online without paying your fees immediately as you will have the ’pay now’ or ’pay later’ option available to you.
Q3 I have registered but my modules have not appeared on Blackboard yet. What should I do?If you registered for modules you must wait at least 24 hours for your modules to appear on Blackboard. If they are still not visible please check the following (1) that you are correctly registered for the academic year, and (2) that your lecturer is subscribing to Blackboard. If you are correctly registered and your lecturer is subscribing to Blackboard and the problem persists please contact

Q4 I registered my modules online but none of them are visible when I log in to My Campus.If you cannot see any of your modules e-mail

Q5 If I register my modules now will I be able to change them or drop a module?It depends on what course you are doing. If you want to change a module after the registration deadline you will more than likely need permission from the relevant department.
No semester 1 module can be deleted in January. No year long module can be added in January. This applies to all students.
Q6 Can I take extra credits in semester 2 if I don’t do well in semester 1 exams?It depends on the course you are doing. Most courses do not allow students to go above 60 credits for the year.

Q7 I registered for the wrong module online by accident. Can I change it?You can change it online before the deadline 21st September 2012 (30th September for 1st Year UG students from the College of Arts, Social Sciences & Celtic Studies). There will also be a 'Change of Mind' option available to each College. Please click

Q8 What does my DOMICILE mean?Domicile refers to your country of permanent address prior to entry to the programme of study.
Q9 I would like to update my home address but I am not allowed to do so on My Campus.To update your home address e-mail

Q10 How can I check if I have registered correctly?Once you register your modules on My Campus and click ’Finish’ your modules are registered. You should then print a copy for your own records.
Q11 There are no optional modules in my course. Do I need to register?You still need to register as a student of the University at the beginning of the academic year even if your course is comprised entirely of core subjects.
Q12 I am studying abroad this year. Do I need to register modules?You must register as a student at the beginning of the academic year. BA students can select their 2 modules e.g. History and Spanish
