Why can't I register Online?

If you log into the student portal and "Register Here" is not an option for you, please see the scenarios below to find out why..

First of all, check the Online Registration schedule.  Online registration may not yet be open for your programme!

Your portal shows 20/21 and not 21/22 in the top right corner?
You will not be able to register online until your official results are published online via the Examinations Office please contact exams@nuigalway.ie 
This is your 3rd attempt registering for the same year of your course  
You have exceeded your time limit for your Programme; please contact your College
You cannot register online if you have outstanding fees, NON EU fees must have payment made in advance of registration 
Please contact fees@nuigalway.ie to discuss
If you receive this message on login “Your login credentials are invalid
Log in to CASS and click forgot password to reset.  If issues persist, contact servicedesk@nuigalway.ie

 

I would like to update my home address but I am not allowed to do so on my Student Portal

To update your home address e-mail  askregistry@nuigalway.ie stating your ID number, your old address and your current address.
