Online Registration is the process of registering for your course AND modules online. You can register online using any PC connected to the internet, whether at home or in one of the
PC Suites located on campus.

Logon
Information Required for online Registration - Returning Students
To register by Online Registration you must have the following information:
- Your
Student Number - USER Id
- Your
PASSWORD
For all
Returning Students, your temporary password will be sent to your
NUI Galway email address. If you have any difficulties please refer to the weblink
https://cass.nuigalway.ie/ for further instructions.
Information in the Post for New Entrants
To register by Online Registration you must have the following information:
- Your
Student Number USER Id
- Your
PASSWORD
- An
Electronic version of Photo of yourself which you can upload
Please refer to the "Registration Handbook for First Year Students 2009-2010" for your temporary activation password

Students from Ireland and United Kingdom: the information packs will be posted on within 3 Working Days of Date of Receipt of Acceptance of Offer

Students from OUTSIDE of Ireland and the United Kingdom: the information packs will be available for collection from Early September from the following offices
- Undergraduate Programmes: Student Contact Centre, Aras Ui Cathail
- Postgraduate Programmes: Student Contact Centre, Aras Ui Cathail
Information packs sent by post are posted to the address indicated when you applied to the University whether through the Central Applications Office (CAO), Postgraduate Applications Centre (PAC) or by Direct Application.
Fee Payment
Before completing the registration process, the student must have paid the appropriate amount of their programme fees to the
Fees Office. For further information on fee payment, including the amounts to be paid (e.g. EU, Non-EU, Free Fees entitlement) please refer to the web site of the
Fees Office.

When you have completed Online Registration you are required to present your Registration Statement in the Library Reading Room in order to obtain your I.D. Card. Please see schedule for times.
