1st year Postgraduate Students

Information for Postgraduate Students:

NB for new postgraduate taught students for academic year 2012/13

You will not be able to register or set up your campus account until mid-August. Please follow this site during the summer for updates on registration information.

01.03.2012 : Research students who register on or after 1st March 2012 will be put in year 0 of their programme and must register for Year 1 in August / September 2012.

2011/12 information:

IMPORTANT: if you have accepted an offer after the 30th September, you must firstly clear your fees, ( www.nuigalway.ie/fees) and once your fees are cleared you must proceed to the Student Contact Centre, Áras Uí Chathail ( www.nuigalway.ie/scc for opening hours) to register for your course.

(For new students to NUI Galway your ID number will be your PAC number. For students who have previously attended the University you will use your old NUIG student number.)

All fee queries must be directed to the Fees Office feesnuigalway.ie

Make sure you load a passport sized photo on the PAC website as this will be used for your NUI Galway student ID card.

Need Internet Access:
There are a number of computer suites on campus. To access these computers you will need your Student No.(PAC no.) and your temporary password, which can be found in the registration guide.
Fees Queries
All Fees Queries should be addressed to the Fees Office.
Subjects/Module Selection
If your course allows you to choose different subjects/modules, you should address any queries to the relevant college/faculty.

And include your Student ID number, course name and query in the e-mail.
