Kidney Health Matters
Recent data suggests that similar to other European countries, up to 7% of the Irish population suffer from impaired kidney function. To help explain what can go wrong with our kidneys, why this matters and what can be done to treat kidney disease, Professor Matthew Griffin and REMEDI Outreach Officer Danielle Nicholson have prepared a number of easy to read factsheets which you can download from our outreach section here.
To view a short interview in which Professor Griffin talks about some of his experience treating patients and some of the new and emerging treatments for diseases of the kidney, please click here to go to our youtube channel.
