The aim of her ongoing research is to assess the combination of mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) and growth/differentiation factor 5 (GDF-5) as a potential therapeutic for arthritis, specifically focusing on the deposition of extracellular matrix proteins.

Linda investigates how microRNAs regulate the differentiation of MSCs.
